For the time being, the Consular Section of the Embassy of Portugal in Addis Ababa does not issue visas neither practices civil registration acts.
The issuance of national visas to Portugal is carried out by the Consulate-General of Portugal in Maputo, Mozambique.
As for the issuance of Schengen visas in Ethiopia to Portugal, the Embassy of Spain in Addis Ababa is in charge. In Rwanda the Embassy of Belgium in Kigali holds that competence, and in Djibouti, the prerrogative falls at the Embassy of France in that country.
